It’s the holiday season and I received a nice surprise gift from Lisa Mauch, the Media Content Specialist at the Cincinnati Public Library’s Main Downtown Branch. She put together a great collection of heirloom cookbooks in her blog post – some I remember perusing when I was doing research, and some “new” ones I hadn’t seen before. Lisa even gave a nod to my book!
As Rita Heikenfeld mentions in her introduction, “Heirloom cookbooks are not just about recipes. They’re our history tucked into the recipe pages.” And that’s how many of my readers feel about Lost Tea Rooms of Downtown Cincinnati because it combines treasured tearoom recipes with wonderful memories and historical locations.
