Prior to the release of Lost Tea Rooms of Downtown Cincinnati, Frank Farmer Loomis, host of Keep Antiquing!, interviewed me on his radio program on 11/3/2016. Although I was a little anxious ahead of time, Frank and Mike Martini, the producer, made me feel very relaxed and the whole experience was really fun!
We talked about the research & interview phase of preparing the book, favorite recipes, and retro photographs that appear in the book. Frank also read from some old menus, letting the listeners know what was offered – both in terms of food and prices – in the 1950s and 60s.
