Living on the Air in Cincinnati

There’s a new exhibit at the Main Library that’s downtown on Vine Street – Living on the Air in Cincinnati: Cincinnati’s Broadcasting History.

As described on their website, “The Library is partnering with Media Heritage for an exhibit featuring photographs and original artifacts from local shows and stations. The exhibit will be on display in various parts of the Main Library, including the Atrium and the Joseph S. Stern, Jr. Cincinnati Room from November 15, 2017 through January 31, 2018.”

Both Mike Martini and Mark Magistrelli, co-founders of Media Heritage Inc. (http://www.mediaheritage.com/about/), were very helpful during the research phase of Lost Tea Rooms of Downtown Cincinnati and provided some wonderful photographs from the Bob Braun era showing that WLW had the Good Morning Show radio program broadcast out of the McAlpin’s Tea Room.
David Siders, the Popular Library Manager at the Main Library, recently wrote to me to tell me that his department has created a companion display of books for people to check out to promote the exhibit.  He added, “We will ensure that your book is stocked on the display table.”  Great news!
