The Lunch & Learn class gathered at noon on Thursday, January 25th. I was invited to join them for the meal, and following that I spoke about Cincinnati’s bygone department stores and tearooms.
There are a few new photos in my PowerPoint presentation that I think make the talk more interesting. It’s fun to hear the audience’s reaction when they see things they remember.
Several people came up to me after the talk to share some of their own stories about the establishments, and one woman who had previously received the book as a gift told me how much she has enjoyed reading it. I always love to hear that!
I’m happy that I have been asked back and look forward to speaking to a different group in March.
